LOVE THE ENERGY
Whenever I am asked what should I study and master first? Is it yoga, breathwork, meditation, the Upanishads, or maybe Buddhism?
My answer is always the same: “study and master love — love the energy that is — not love the emotion.”
The answer is typically the same also: “huh, what do you mean?”
Let me explain:
Let’s start with these brilliant words by Mark Twain to have a foundation to work from:
“Anger is an acid that does more harm to the vessel in which it is stored than to anything on which it is poured.”
Please freely substitute “anger” for fear, greed, hate, revenge, angst, anxiety, doubt, etc. You get the picture.
Also, please note, what he doesn’t say is that this doesn’t do any harm on which it is poured. It does, in many cases great harm even.
Now, let’s define “love the emotion” vs “love the energy.” Love the emotion is that warm & fuzzy feeling you have towards someone or “some thing” — “any thing” really — which could be your pet, house, favorite song, or something much larger like nature.
Love the emotion is what the vast majority of humanity understands love to be. This is not necessarily wrong, just wholly incomplete.
Love the energy is far grander and infinitely more powerful but more about that later. Love the energy is actually the essence that animates this entire universe. Energy is light and light is information and this information is pure intelligence.
Pure intelligence because this information is infinite, so the intelligence is infinite also — hence, the notion of Infinite Intelligence.
Other “labels” for Infinite Intelligence are God, Creator, Source, Spirit, Universal Mind, and the list goes on. Labels are just words, please pick whichever one you prefer as I am merely pointing at an essence.
It’s an observable fact that there is some intelligence that animates all creation in our known universe. The infinite and eternal nature of this intelligence is not comprehensible for our finite mind, but we are able to observe and grasp that some intelligence is expressing itself in the creation of the entire universe which includes our planet and humanity.
That intelligence I am pointing at is love the energy.
In fact, we are made of this love. It’s our essence as well as the essence of everything else in this universe.
Now, you don’t have to believe me. But, perhaps you would believe Jesus? Because this is what he pointed at — time and again — except you have to read his words in the symbolism they were spoken as what we’re discussing here is the intelligence of life itself which is beyond language.
So, how do we make all of this real?
Well, that’s where it fortunately gets really simple. Anything done and created in the absence of love will inevitably harm, destroy, decay, atrophy, sour, get ill, divide, or create some other form of ugliness.
These are all unintelligent outcomes as they are contrary to the thriving of life itself. Basically, it’s degenerative to the expansion, evolution, and prosperity of life itself.
We each know that anything done, created, bestowed, or doused in love will inevitably grow, expand, heal, flourish, unite and create some form of beauty.
These are all intelligent outcomes to the thriving of life itself. So, it’s inherently regenerative to the expansion, evolution, and prosperity of life itself.
Love the energy is literally the divine fertilizer of life itself, it’s the greatest transformative power in this universe — nothing comes even close — and there’s nothing that cannot be transmuted by the transformative powers of love the energy.
Mastering love the energy is the process of coming into full congruence with the true power that animates all of creation. Any other form of power is man-made and illusionary as it’s inherently based on leverage and force.
The creation of a new world rests solely in humanity mastering love the energy, all else is details.
