TO BE A SPIRITUAL GIANT

Mike Tyson

Mike Tyson is one of my spiritual teachers. No, not in person as I don’t personally know Mike, but because Mike is a profound emissary of the Truth of Man’s journey and the inner dragons we must all face and conquer.

Paraphrasing a recent interview:

“I used to be a student of war, I studied all the great conquerors in history. I trained myself to become an annihilator, a merciless killer and when I stepped into the ring I didn’t come to win a boxing match — I came to kill as I was a killer. It’s what I had trained myself to be, it’s what I had become.”

“Then, at the end of my career, I simply couldn’t do it anymore. And, I just had no more fight in me, I was empty and my life felt empty and none of the championship belts, fame, and money meant anything anymore. None of it made any sense anymore.”

“That’s when it started to change. It took some time, but now I am a student of humbleness. Every day, every moment, I dedicate myself to being and staying humble. To live in peace with myself and in peace with all others. But, this killer inside of me is still there, and I know that if he comes out, if I allow him loose, all hell will break out — he will kill again. That’s why I dedicate myself to staying humble — this is my daily task.”

Mike’s journey played out on the grand stage for everyone to witness. It played out in the physical arena of boxing, the ultimate gladiator sport of his time.

But, don’t be fooled, the merciless “killer” comes equally disguised in a custom suit on Wall Street, big corporate, the tech wizards in Silicon Valley, in politics, and all subservient ranks of society below.

All men are prostitutes of their lust for money and power, until and unless they can rise above their carnal desires and become a student of humbleness.

This is why Mike Tyson is a spiritual giant.

He’s you and me.

And, until we stop glorifying the merciless killers among us, they will continue to kill indiscriminately. We’re marching fast and furious towards a dystopian surveillance world governed by these lost Souls who have now found a new omnipotent handyman in AI.

AI itself is not even the problem, but AI in the hands of “students of war” is problematic.

We have the “problems” of war, violence, hate, racism, environmental degradation, polluted food systems, venomous poisons sold as medicines, etc. not because they’re our real problems; but, because these they are the inevitable byproducts a “student of war” inadvertently creates.

Mike chose the path of purification, the path of resurrection.

Resurrection means but one thing, reconnecting with your Divinity within. And, when you do, you become a “student of humbleness” as now you’re able to see the Most High is not the Earthly religion of money and power and all the other folly of shiny objects and fame man has invented to be of omnipotent importance.

Mike’s chose the path of becoming a spiritual giant. The hardest path there is as this is the path of rising above yourself, your carnal desires, and your own righteousness in being completely selfish.

Learn from Mike, be like Mike, transpose his journey unto your own and see how your participation in the system — no matter how cutely cloaked in fancy suits and all sorts of prestige and accolades — is creating the very world you publicly declare to be immoral.

Stop fooling yourself, take your blinders off.

Because once you see, you cannot unsee.

The world is not the problem, we are.

Love+Truth,

Robert
